About the Course
 This
Post Graduate Programme - International, is for
students with ambition, energy and commitment. The
programme is rigorous, and students must therefore
be prepared for a challenge. The course is
designed, monitored and continually upgraded by an
Advisory Council comprising of business leaders,
management experts as well as officers from
international agencies and government.
The course curriculum develops international
perspective on business competitiveness. Therefore
students are prepared for roles as
globally-oriented managers. It also develops skills
in working with international teams and networks.
Teaching methods includes theoretical studies and
experience sharing as well as mentoring by
practicing managers from leading Indian and
International companies and also includes classroom
interaction and case study discussions.
 International
Exposure
Students are exposed to international business
environment through a 7 day study tour to South
East Asia (destinations could be Singapore,
Malaysia, Hongkong etc.) And visits to companies,
business institutions and international agencies as
a part of learning to do business in other
countries.
Minimum Qualification
 A
bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any
discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign
university. Candidates in the final year of
bachelor’s degree course may also apply. They
will, however, be required to furnish evidence of
minimum qualification within 1 months of the
commencement of the session. High proficiency in
the English language. Foreign and NRI candidates,
whose mother tongue or education medium is not
English, are required to furnish their score in
TOEFL

Managers who are fluent in one or more languages
are an increasingly important asset to their
companies. Knowledge of foreign languages play a
vital part in promoting communication and
establishing contacts, and can be key to securing a
deal. As part of our commitment to developing truly
global business leaders, the Foreign Language
Programme requires that every Institute of
Management and Development management graduate has
some competency in one language other than English
by graduation.

The PGP-International programme develops core
knowledge and skills. Our Core Courses are designed
to give you a thorough grounding in business
frameworks and general management concepts, and to
help you begin to make connections between and
across the subjects of study. They are academically
rigorous, simulating and practical. In addition to
larger lectures, students work very closely in
small and carefully selected Study Groups, with
peers who are culturally diverse and from a wide
variety of Backgrounds. Students in Level 1 (11
months) also take up one Foreign Language and
an additional Business English language classes.
The students are required to undertake a two months
of Industry Internship where they are required to
co-relate their theoretical concepts with practical
world. In Level 2 the flexibility of our PGP really
comes into its own. Here the students take up one
specializations such as Marketing, Finance, Human
Resource or Information Technology along with
International Business. During the International
South East Asia Academic tour, students are taken
to International Factory visits, trade bodies,
business hubs and international markets as a part
of learning to do business in other countries as
well as gain international exposure.
